I am a newbie at all of this. And I had a question, if I can write it correctly.  Been at it all day.
My ear says the Wav is better, but I'm just beginning.  My I-Pod will only accept the MP3 format.. And My car and boom box will only take Wavs.

Ok, I put my store bought CD into "Easy Media Creator 10 Suite", and it converts it into an MP3 format.  Now, to put it on a blank CD to copy the songs I want.  It will do that, ad it takes the MP3 format and converts it to a Wav file.  Do you think this is the best way to do it for the sound quality?
It seems like you should start out and convert it to a Wav file to start with.  Or is it the same ?

Can you take a MP3 and than convert it to a Wav ?

I hope that makes sense.. Thank You..For your help.. Pat

Hoo boy.  Yes, wav files usually have a very high quality sound, but the file size is HUMONGOUS.  So therefore the mp3 and other formats that give pretty good sound and not quite so large in file size.

Since your burner seems to be able to handle the conversion, you have a winning combo there!  Congrats.

Thanks Auntie Canuck..

Usually everythings so hard, but the software program just does it all real easy.  It must know what it's doing.  Cause it all sounds great.  Just amazing.

I'm going to try and do a video on my camera and see if I can't get it on a DVD and onto my tv now.. I got a bunch of blank dvds and going to try.  It's supposed to do it.  That's for another day, I need a little rest.  Sit and read their book a little, on how to do it.  Just added Photo Story 3 too, and give that a go with it.. After Halloween.

Look at Auntie still slinging out the apropos advice.

   Impressive, most impressive.

Especially when you consider this site is situated in the middle of nowhere and is rarely visited.
